Joey had music class with Nanny and Poppy on Friday afternoon. They said the drums are still his favorite part!
I had a meeting downtown on Friday so we were able to head out of the city right at 3, without having to fight too much traffic. Greg took the train to Highland Park and after a quick dinner at Norton’s and grocery shopping at Sunset (only now do I understand how nice it is to have my groceries loaded for me), we headed up to the lake. The Bohrers met us up there late Friday night! Despite having a bit of the stomach flu (and passing it along to Greg), we still had a good time.
Joey’s 7th tooth is making its debut (the top 3 are all coming in at once)!
Joey had a great time exploring the lake on all fours. Bubbie had loaded up the place with a whole bunch of new toys, although he still opted for the dog food over everything else…
Lucy is now 4 months old! She just learned how to “opt out” of tummy time by simply laying there instead. Quite the problem solver!

On Sunday, the guys went golfing so Stacy and I took the kids to Gurnee Mills. Shopping is not as relaxing as it used to be, but we still both had success!
