We spent the day inside today, just enjoying one another. \u00a0I made french toast for breakfast and Joey loved dipping the bread in the syrup. \u00a0Sam came over for a play date a bit later and the boys had a blast playing at the train table and “sharing” snacks.<\/p>\n

Joey is beginning to realize that Benji isn’t here for just a visit! \u00a0He’s getting a little more comfortable being around him each day….<\/p>\n

Trying out his new sleep accommodations! \u00a0I know we’ll appreciate them even more when Benji begins sleeping less (thanks Uncle Kenny & Aunt Jenny)!<\/p>\n

I realized yesterday when we headed out for the doctor that I didn’t have winter gear to fit a newborn. \u00a0Fortunately, Bubbie showed up this morning with a new coat (or two) and a few hats (see below)!<\/p>\n

Joey received a “big brother” gift today from the Cohens. \u00a0He loved playing with his new cars on his choo-choo table!<\/p>\n

Grandpa came over late this afternoon to hang out. \u00a0Benji fell asleep in his arms after his bottle….<\/p>\n

Almost 5 days in, Benji continues to be extremely easy going. \u00a0He loves his sleep, enjoys his pacifier when trying to get back to bed, pees through his clothes often and sleeps best when swaddled. \u00a0Fingers crossed, he’ll continue to be content \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
