Goldie’s finger got slammed in a door this month. She was a trooper and is slowly recovering from the ordeal. She had to be put under in order to stitch her up properly and only wanted Bubbie when she woke up.

The Big Island – Hawaii 2016

I had a work trip to Hawaii to visit Pacific Quest so Greg and I took advantage of the opportunity and made it into a mini vacation!

We were on the big island the entire time and we’re able to cover pretty much everything the island had to offer.

It was pouring rain when we arrived…

Challah Making in JK

Each family at Joey’s school participates in a “family share” once per year. The student is supposed to select what they want to share with their class…this could be anything from a Lego set to their favorite book/activity. Joey knew exactly what he wanted months in advance… Aunt Lori to come in and teach his classmates about challah making.

This is an activity he’s enjoyed weekly at his old school – and he’s certainly loves Aunt Lori’s homemade challah on Friday night. Due to all of the food restrictions (allergies), the kids werent able to taste any of it but they did have fun making it!
