Despite the fact that Joey has been putting the correct syllables in the correct order to produce words for months, we were not expecting any “meaningful” words for a few more months. When Jill was over last Saturday, she tried to convince me that Joey was saying “ball.” I brushed it off, but have been paying closer attention to him the past couple of days. He is TOTALLY is saying “ball!” His version sounds like “gall” and its adorable! It’s SO neat to see Joey associate words with objects/people.
