Labor Day Weekend

On the last night at the lake, we had a sitter watch the kids and we went out to dinner.  It was a great last night out!

The kids ended the weekend with a sleepover at Nanny and Poppy’s while Greg and I enjoyed a quiet night at home!

On Monday morning, they checked out the Botanic Gardens.  The kids loved the tram ride!

Go Cubs Go

We took the kids to the Cub game last week.  Aunt Abby too good care of us.  We parked in the VIP parking lot and got escorted to the field in a golf cart.  It definitely made things easier!

The kids both wore their custom jerseys.  The kids ate nachos, hot dogs and french fries.  After they were done eating, they were ready to go!

Joey has asthma :(

Joey’s been sick on and off all summer.  Unfortunately, a few of his colds have turned into more and he’s had trouble breathing.  He was a trooper at the hospital, and may have even enjoyed it a bit!

Work travel

Over the past month, I’ve been to Oregon, Idaho and Montana for work.  I had the opportunity to see dozens of one-of-a-kind schools and programs that I never would have known existed had I not seen them first-hand!

Fun at the Zoo

Breanna and I took the boys to the zoo last week.  They had so much fun checking out the animals!

Their favorite was the monkey exhibit.  They were lucky enough to see the monkeys as they were just being let inside so they really put on a show for the boys!
