Two Month Countdown

Exactly two months from today is our due date! Greg and I are anxiously preparing for Baby Goodman’s arrival.  This week we signed up for all of the parenting classes we wanted to take at Northwestern.  We’re taking 4 classes in all; breastfeeding (Greg is super excited for that one), infant CPR, Newborn Baby Care: The Basics, and Great Expectations.  Greg wanted to wait until last minute to take everything so he wouldn’t forget what he learned, but our doctor suggested we get on it just in case Baby Goodman has a schedule of his own.

Our doctor wanted us to find out how big we were at birth, as I am measuring a little big for how far along we are.  Greg was 5.6oz and I was 8.0oz.  I’m hoping Baby Goodman is somewhere in the middle…My mom was notorious for having huge babies (no one was less than 7.9oz and Ricky was nearly 11) and I certainly am not looking forward to birthing a Big Mac on the first go around.

Speaking of Big Macs…I had an interesting craving today that I couldn’t stop thinking about.  Rye bread, yellow mustard, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and egg whites.  It was scrumptious.  Has anyone else had these weird cravings??
