Joey had a sleepover Friday night at Bubbie and Zeyde’s. I think he’s finally getting used to their crib, only waking up once in the middle of the night! On Saturday morning, after a walk on Michigan Avenue, Zeyde took Joey swimming. He had a great time swimming, but also enjoyed looking out of the huge windows in the pool area.
On Saturday afternoon, we went to visit Aunt Val and Uncle Shel. We hadn’t seen them since Hannukah, so it was great to catch up! We spent the rest of the day running errands as a family and hung-in on Saturday night.
On Sunday, Greg went golfing with Jason so I had Aunt Michy and Aunt Abby over for brunch. We made an awesome omelette!
After the sisters left, Joey spent a good hour playing in his ball pit, his favorite toy as of recently. He’s now comfortable enough with it that he dives in head first!
Last night, he was a rockstar at the hockey game. We were a little nervous about the noise, but it didn’t seem to faze him. His eyes were wide open, without a recorded blink until we dragged him out of there at 8:45PM. Aunt Abby came with us, too! She got him an adorable jersey that he’ll fit in soon enough! The time changed definitely worked to our advantage last night!
Joey got to sit in his own seat last night. We brought along his travel booster and it worked out great!
Once the nachos came out, Joey lost focus on the game and had a one-track mind. All he wanted to do was get his hands in the nacho cheese. Although he wasn’t successful, he still enjoyed spitting his baby cereal all over the people sitting in front of him. It’s a good thing he’s cute….
Last night was a very successful first (of many) visit to the United Center! Thanks for the tickets, Zeyde!
