What a fabulous weekend! We tried to spend as much time outside as we could, considering it was (and still is) 70-80 degrees in mid-March.
We stepped outside on Saturday morning to grab a bite at a local bar and only then realized it was St. Patrick’s Day. Needless to say, our plans changed and we opted for a picnic in the park…
Joey didn’t mind at all, as he was able to practice surfing on the grass. He also tasted it several times….
On Saturday night, Nanny watched Joey so we could have dinner with Hollie and Mike. We went to a restaurant we had never been, Prasino, and had a great time. Best part…we got to sit outside!
Greg got up early on Sunday for a round of golf. I headed out to run errands with Joey and we met at Stacy and Jason’s so we could have a quick visit before getting back outside. Jason got Joey his first set of golf clubs! How cute?!

Stacy was able to have some one-on-one time with Joey because Lucy was napping!
After our visit, we headed to Southport for lunch outside. Joey had some of Greg’s french fries and a lot of the chicken off of my salad.
He was pooped from all of the activity and passed out right after lunch. Too bad for him…he missed DQ!
Although we had planned for the zoo, Joey had other ideas and decided to take an early nap. We headed home to relax for an hour or so….
We had an impromptu dinner with Ashley and Mikey at Via Carducci and, again, got to sit outside! Joey joined us and was pretty well mannered throughout the entire meal, even sporting his shades long enough so I could snap a photo.
