We headed to Hawaii last week to celebrate Greg’s President’s Club Award! We were really sad to leave Joey, but knew we were leaving him in good hands! It was the first time we spent more than 24 hours away from him 🙁 Bubbie Silverman watched Joey for the first half of the trip and Nanny watched him for the second half.

Joey had a blast playing with all of his new toys in the basement….
Bubbie took Joey shoe shopping on Thursday…

…and to Shabbat dinner at the Wigoda’s on Friday night.
By late Friday evening (48-hours after we left), Joey got hit with a nasty virus. He had his first fever (highest temp. was 103.2) and it lasted 5 days. He looked pitiful in every picture that came our way…
Great Bubbie Go-Go and Aunt Abby went to help Bubbie Silverman out on Saturday, after a sleepless Friday night.

When Nanny got him, his fever was lower but his cold was in full-swing! Despite not feeling great, Joey had a great time playing with Sadie (Nanny’s dog). They also went for a walk and to the pediatrician just to make sure he was okay.
