Today’s a big day! Marianos West Loop and Buybuybaby Lincoln Park are officially open. It’s a little sad, but I booked Joey’s nanny to stay an extra hour this afternoon so I could get a good grocery store trip in. Hopefully we’ll get to Buybuybaby this weekend or next to pick up what we need for G2.
We celebrated by attending the opening of Marianos last night. It was suprisingly a “hot ticket,” as even my “connected” sister couldn’t score us some. We had to rely on good old Zeyde. We were planning to bring Joey but were quickly advised against it when Lori and Vinnie got there (good call).
So Joey was all dressed up with no where to go….
Once he realized he wasnt going anywhere, his mood quickly changed
Fortunately, the power of distraction still works wonders (even if I have to embarrass myself)…
He quickly bounced out of his bad mood when he got to see how much ketchup he was allotted for dinner (he even dipped his apples in it, ew).
I headed out and left the boys at home to do their thing (Monday Night Football).
