Sophie FINALLY decided to join us on Monday, November 12 at 8:30AM. The timing worked out perfectly, as I had the day off of work for Veteran’s Day!
Lori was such a trooper (as was Vince) during the entire labor process….
The Silverman Girls awaiting the arrival!
After 30 hours of labor and an hour of pushing, Lori & Vince opted for a C-Section. It may have been the best decision they’ve made to-date, as Sophie was a whopping 10lbs, 13oz and 22″ long! Joey and Greg came to the hospital in the morning to help welcome Sophie. Joey kept us all entertained while we waited. He especially loved the buttons on the elevator, the vending machines and the view from above!
While Lori was in recovery, we headed out to grab lunch.
Exhausted after a long morning!
Sophie had to go to the nursery while Lori got stitched up. We all had so much fun checking her out through the glass. We couldn’t believe how big (and beautiful) she was!

Pretty in purple!
Joey has been so excited to see photos of Sophie over the last few days. He is CONSTANTLY asking to see the “baby”.
Baby Sophie is looking forward to meeting Joey tomorrow. She had so much fun face timing with him today!
So adorable! So happy for Lori and Vince!
