We had a quiet Thanksgiving this year (probably for the first and last time ever). We were still recovering from my trip to the emergency room (early Wednesday morning) and definitely benefited from a low-key weekend at home.

Dinner for 3 – Thursday night
Joey spent Friday morning with Greg while I enjoyed a sleep in and some Black Friday shopping with Stacy (it really is all hype-I can find a better deal on just about any other day)! Joey insisted on wearing his “football” hat while drawing hundreds of footballs on his Aquadoodle.

Such good manners!
Joey took his art time very seriously this morning. He spent over 30 minutes making Poppy’s birthday card (finished product to be posted tomorrow)!
We decided to venture out today and visited the Kohl Children’s Museum. Although Joey was a little young for some of the exhibits, he definitely had a good time!
He had a blast playing the drums until the girl across from him whacked him with the drumstick….
The trains were definitely his favorite station….
The Newmans were in town for Thanksgiving so we met them for lunch after visiting the museum.
Bubbie and Abby made Joey a football cake for is 1.5 year birthday. Isn’t it adorable?
Greg and I were able to sneak away tonight for a movie (Lincoln). Aunt Abby and Alex watched Joey while we were out
Last photos as a family of 3 (G2 is officially full term as of tomorrow!)?
