Joey was an angel on the plane ride to Puerto Rico.  He napped on the tray table and entertained the other passengers.  We were just happy we arrived with all 220lbs of luggage.  Greg keeps saying,  “we won’t be taking another vacation until our kids are old enough to carry their own shit.”

We spent a few days with Grandma and Grandpa, eating and drinking our way through San Juan.  My favorite was yucca mafongo.

We also did a little site seeing and got caught in a downpour a mile away from our hotel. This photo doesn’t begin to describe how windy it got, but Joey was literally glued to the stroller from the wind…

Grandpa’s shirt was big on him before it got wet, but looked absolutely ridiculous post-downpour.

Joey had a difficult time transitioning to his new sleeping quarters so we entertained him in the early morning hours with Spanish cartoons.

Joey wearing his “Vinnie” hat.  Although he looked quite content, he absolutely hated having the straw hat on his head.  We literally had to hold his hands down and distract him for 5 minutes before he forgot about it.  Terrible?  Maybe.
